Deleting is reversible
Delete goes to the Trash, and undo brings it back. Every cleanup run is written to a log you can restore in one click. Permanent deletion asks you to type a word first — in your own language.
A dual-pane file manager for macOS, built for people who came from Windows Explorer — with four tools that answer “where did my disk space go”.
macOS 12 or later · Apple Silicon and Intel · signed and notarized by Apple
All of it is rebuilt by the app itself. You lose no work — at most one slower launch.
Everything goes to the Trash, so ⌘Z brings it back. The login item is only reported — MExplorer never edits your startup settings for you.
The active panel has an orange edge. Copying between two folders is a single drag.
The four analysis tools are why people install it. These two are why they stay.

The right question is not “what folder is this”, but “what do I lose if I delete it”. What's pre-ticked is only what your Mac can rebuild by itself. Old iPhone backups are never pre-ticked.
Quick, Smart and Deep — the same job at three depths. Each group says what you lose before you tick it.
What each app really takes, including the data it scatters around your Library — and removing that data along with the app.
Compares contents, not names. APFS clones share data on disk, so they're never counted as savings you don't actually get.
The bigger the tile, the more space it takes. From the second scan on, MExplorer marks what grew or newly appeared.
The keys you press every day, and what they map to here. Every one of them can be rebound in Settings.
| In Windows Explorer | In MExplorer |
|---|---|
| Open two windows and line them up to copy between them | Two real panels in one window. F6 or Tab switches the active one. |
| Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V — cut then paste to move a file | ⌘X, ⌘V — exactly the same. macOS Finder cannot do this. |
| Ctrl+L — type a path into the address bar | ⌘L — the path bar turns into a text field. Type a path, press Return. |
| F2 rename, F5 refresh | F2 and F5 — unchanged. F2 edits the name in every view. |
| Shift+Delete deletes for good, instantly | ⌘⌥Delete is permanent too — but you must type a word to confirm. |
| Select many files, press F2 to bulk rename | ⌘⇧F2 — bulk rename, with a preview before you apply it. |
A file manager sees everything on your disk. That is exactly why this one is built so that none of it can leave. What does leave — anonymous counts, and crash reports — is listed event by event on the privacy page, which also says plainly that those two have no off switch yet. The interface, the user guide, and even the word you type to confirm a permanent deletion follow the language you choose — in all 27 languages, right-to-left included.
The file manager is free, with no time limit. A key unlocks only the four disk-analysis tools.
No time limit, no account, no ads.
Yours forever, on 2 Macs. Not a subscription.
2 Macs for each app, not shared.
Today the suite contains exactly one app: MExplorer. You are paying $30 more for apps that do not exist yet. If that sounds like a bet, it is one — buy Full instead.
One-time $29. The subscription cleaners charge about that every year.
Payment runs through PayPal: your PayPal account, or a Visa, Mastercard, Amex or JCB card on PayPal's own form, which needs no account. Your card details never reach us.
Prices shown to EU customers include VAT. US prices exclude sales tax where applicable.
Straight away. The moment PayPal confirms the payment — usually a few seconds — the key appears on the page, with a button that activates it in the app in one click. The same key is emailed to the address you paid with, so closing the tab costs you nothing.
Two Macs at a time, and the count is real: activating checks in with our server. It is not a trap, though. Open Settings, then Licence, and you can free a Mac you no longer use — as often as you like, with no limit. Activation sends a one-way hash of the machine and the Mac's name, enough to show you which one to free and nothing more; your hardware ID never reaches us.
Once, to activate your key. After that MExplorer never calls our licence server again — the certificate lives on your Mac, so our server going down cannot lock you out of an app you have already installed. Separately the app checks for updates, which you can switch off in Settings, and sends anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. None of them carries a file name, a path, or anything you have on disk.
Exactly the four analysis tools. Browsing, copying, moving, renaming, deleting, and the undo log run in full — no limits, no countdown.
macOS 12 or later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel — one installer covers both.
A refund within 30 days, no questions asked. The free version lets you try the file manager before paying anything. This policy applies worldwide and does not replace your statutory rights in the EU.
With a PayPal account, or with a Visa, Mastercard, Amex or JCB card. The card form belongs to PayPal, so you need no PayPal account and your card details never reach us. Prices are in US dollars; your bank converts at its own rate.
The file manager is free with no time limit. The four disk tools unlock with one $29 key, yours forever.
